Standing magnificently at an altitude of 3,969mts and enveloped in the mighty Garhwal Himalayas, the Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva . Kedarnath forms one of the four sites of the   Char Dham p ilgrimage. A beauty from Disaster - Taragh Taal, Chaukhatiya Uttarakhand India

Taragh Taal is a beautiful lake in Himalayas having a long Geological History. The beautiful taal  is located at elv. 1168 m near Taragh Gaon. It is about 12 km from the Chaukhatiya in Almora district of Uttarakhand.
